Dove: don’t expect sympathy on the tube
Dove, the skin and hair products, are currently running the “Campaign for Real Beauty” which I think is an excellent idea – beauty is far more than the outward appearance.
Even so, don’t expect any sympathy if you put up posters on the Tube with photos of women and two tickbox choices. Someone is going to come along and scribble on them, and likely not with the answer you’d hoped for.
I guess it all started with sticking bits of chewing gum to the people in advert posters; an art form in itself…
