Being away from blogging
Darren has written an interesting post on Sole Practitioner Blogging: What to do when on holidays.
The more frequently one posts to a blog, the more noticeable it is when it stops. He discusses and invites comments on how the effect on visitors can be minimised, including inviting guest authors to write on your blog, leaving more open-ended question postings for your readers to discuss in your absence, and writing non-time-critical articles which can be auto-published during your break.
The problem still remains of getting some net access to deal with comments and spam clearance.
