Persistence in Problogging
Are you planning to blog professionally?
Then beware of the following curses:
- Being half-hearted
- Having a part-time attitude
- Getting distracted by anything and everything else that looks interesting
- Procrastination
- Lack of motivation
- Apathy
- Loss of passion, drive and determination to succeed
These are just a handful of afflictions that can be waiting around every corner to trip the unwary ‘just-turned-pro’.
Instead:
- Get energised – keep your passion alive
- Recognise and rebuke the first signs of negativity, apathy, procrastination, and mediocrity
- Stay close to those who inspire, motivation, guide, encourage, teach and mentor you
- Maintain your professional rhythm
Setbacks, frustrations and negative thoughts will come from time to time. You need to know how to deal with them quickly, efficiently and with the minimum loss of energy and momentum.
