UK family kitted out with technology, courtesy of BBC
A lucky (or unlucky, depending on how you view new technology) UK family has been kitted out with the latest in home entertainment gadgetry courtesy of the BBC.
The Boston’s are getting:
- Samsung 37inch HDTV
- Belkin Wireless router
- Acer Aspire iDea 500 media center PC
- Apple TV (pictured)
- Apple MacBook
- Sonos wireless music system
- Kodak wireless digital photo frame
Nice set up.
However:
Emily Boston already foresees a few battles with her parents over who’s in charge in the living-room.
“Dad will want to watch TV, but we’ll want to go on the computer on the massive screen in here – so there could be a few fights over that,” she said.
The technology might be new, but the age old problem of who gets the remote controls seems to be alive and well.
