Su-Doku on the train from Epsom
Mike Richards writes a witty post about the new puzzle phenomenon:
It was when I discovered I already had two 4s in the square already was when I lost my temper with today’s Sudoku. I had struggled from Epsom to just outside Vauxhall, entertaining the other passengers with the overture to Wagner’s “Tannhauser on my newly-acquired I-Pod, before discovering my numeric mistake. I have tried the Times’ “Sudokus – tomorrow I shall be doing “The Sport’s. This is like the “Times but rather than have numbers they have porn stars from the 70s. Having failed maths O-level three times I applaud such methods. I might also subscribe to the Ipswich Evening Star, where numbers are replaced by nine different-shaped sugar beets.
Brilliant. Read the full article.

I feel I’ve arrived. I shall look at the others which take my fancy. I also wish I was clever enough (or young enough, even) to do those smiley things. I’ll get one of my kids to teach me.

Haven’t got round to coding you on the sidebar —> here yet – I will do so soon though!
As for the
’s, well WordPress just puts them in automagically. I expect there’s something similar on Blog-City. I’m not sure which smileys are cool any more anyway – they went through a phase where they were deeply uncool (or so I was told) but the graphic and animated ones seem to be pretty popular. There’s some trivia for you…
