Secrets of the dictators: Saddam and Osama
An article in today’s London Metro interviews the British lawyer Giovanni Di Stefano who has met and communicated with both Saddam Hussein and Osama bin Laden.
The fallen dictator likes whisky, Premiership football watched on a cloned Sky card, and books, his favourite being Harper Lee’s To Kill a Mocking Bird.
Stefano met bin Laden in 1998:
“He wore American jeans and didn’t have a beard. He had a delicate handshake and was very feminine.”
How people change. I suppose you can hate America and still feel comfortable in their clothing.
