I've recently published a book online entitled, "How to Defeat al Qaeda and Win the War on Terror" and wanted to appeal directly to readers withiut the interference of publishers, agents and the rest. I've been a tv producer for 7 years and am going in a different direction in my life and hope that individuals like yourself will be kind enough to comment on the ideas I have presented. If I’m honest, I’ll admit that most knitting blogs (for example), or fishing blogs, or any other number of blogs on niche subjects, are almost never going to attract the same following as tech or politics.

Maybe it is time for each niche to discover their own “influencers”.

Granted I put productivity, SEO and “make money online” under Business rather than Computers & Internet…

Compared to the (imperfect but objective) Technorati 100 (categorized here), the NxE folks are somewhat more interested in Computers + Business (making money online) and somewhat less in entertainment and gadgets.

In any case, you make some great suggestions. For lists, the more the merrier.
